It accelerates video and image encoding to compute at an incredible frame rate. GPEG2 video codec is a video compressor / decompressor that registers into the Windows® multimedia drivers and integrates with any application using DirectShow (Virtual Dub, Adobe Premiere, etc). Existing video players, such as Windows® Media Player® , Media Player Classic can use this codec to play MPEG-2 streams.The GPEG2 video codec supports several levels and profiles.
